The Mulino Recording Studio was built in 1989 inside a restored 15th century farmhouse situated on the Francigena road near the gate of Acquapendente, a pre-romanic town that belonged to the Alta Tuscia and Tuscany Marquesade. Within the distance of a few kilometers, one can visit the medieval village of Sovana (known for its important Etruscan tombs), Pitigliano, Pienza (the 15th century "ideal city"), Montepulciano and Orvieto (the beautiful Umbrian city with its monumental Gothic cathedral).From the Orvieto railway station it's easy to get to Acquapendente with just a short drive through the country hills. Historical towns such as Siena, Perugia, Viterbo and Florence are also quite close. Just outside the town are the thermal baths af San Casciano dei Bagni and Saturnia, and tourist centers like Lake Bolsena and the Monte Amiata skiing resort. Partners of the Mulino Recording Studio are Francesco Luzzi, Sound Engineer, and Cesare Chiodo, Musician, who started this industry in 1985 with a small studio and in 1989 made the studio ex-novo in the building of the old mill of the town where it is settled now. Together or idividually they have contrybuited to the realization of many works for italian and foreign artists like Raf, Irene Grandi, Laura Pausini, Marco Masini, Michele Zarrillo, Spagna, Stefano Zarfati, Luca Carboni, Dirotta su Cuba, Amanda Miguel, Sergio Dalma, Giorgia, Paolo Vallesi, Fiorella Mannoia, Toquinho, Anna Oxa, Antonello Venditti, Umberto Tozzi, Adriano Celentano and others. Now over the work on behalf of many record companies and over the work for producers, Cesare Chiodo and Francesco Luzzi have an occupation of research for the production of new artists in collaboration with two other reality of the Italian musical outline.
